Fishing at Bluebell Lakes in Northamptonshire could not be more idyllic if you tried.
Having said that the fishing can be hard especially on Kingfisher lake where it would be quite conceivable to go a lifetime without catching a fish – but there is always a chance and boy are they worth waiting for, absolute cracking specimens. A complex of five lakes plus a fantastic stretch of the river Nene. |

Don’t think this is just about carp fishing either. whilst I was there this September, I nearly saw the British record Roach being caught. The roach in the complex are massive, as are the bream, as is the catfish, need I go on? This is specimen fishing at its best. | |
