8th November Angling Trust Open Shore Competition
On Sunday, 8th November the North East Marine Division of the Angling Trust are holding an Open Shore Competition. Fishing is from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm with registration from 8.30 am. The registration venue is to be confirmed. Weigh in is from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm prompt. Entry is £10, which includes £2 HSF Sweep. The boundaries are from the south side of the River Blyth to the north side of the River Wear. Tynemouth pier and the round ends of Roker and South Shields piers are out of bounds. Competitors may fish all along the south side of the River Blyth, the north side of the River Wear and both banks of the River Tyne. All beaches and rocks within the boundaries may be fished. Blyth wooden pier is also included. This competition will be a Penn Points Match.
